1.) POS – A new Orientation

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To realise the importance of using positive tactics and leadership styles in the work place
• To understand the fundamentals of positive leadership and positive organisational culture
• To grasp the importance of being positive in the work place
• To identify negative practices and replace them with positive interventions
• To support the notion that being positive is far more beneficial to yourself and the organisation, than being negative
• To understand how easy it is to change traditional paradigms

2.) POS and New Energizers

At the end of the module students will be able:
• Understand the role and importance of energy in the work place
• To know the importance of giving…….(energy)
• To understand the positivity ratio of 2:1
• To identify your signature strengths
• To share your super best self with colleagues

3.) POS - High Quality Connections (HQC)

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To know that the quality of connections between colleagues is critical for the strategic success of your department and organisation
• To know that everybody has the potential to build HQC
• To know the importance of HQC in the work place
• The relationship between HQC and your personal leadership styles
• To understand how to build HQC


4.) POS and Ethics

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To understand the appreciation and acquisition of Positive Power
• To understand that culture 'eats strategy for breakfast'
• To choose between two Mental maps
• To understand the role of 'legacy' as part of your leadership style
• To know how to lead with values
• To understand and appreciate the role of Mentors in your life

5.) POS and Thriving

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To understand what is thriving
• To know how to build a thriving culture
• To understand how leaders can build a thriving culture
• To understand the role of the "Failure Wall"
• To write your Thriving Action Plan

6.) POS and Best Self

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To understand the power of 'Lollipop moments'
• To realise your strengths
• To understand what happens when strengths are at play
• To share with your colleagues your "Best Self"
• To practice positive feedback to colleagues


7.) POS and Change

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To understand that 'deep change' requires a 'deep understanding'
• To know the 9 "understanding-lessons" for deep change
• To identify the 'slow death-options' when change is considered
• To know the alternatives to the "slow death options"
• To know how to implement Cutting Edge Change"

8.) POS and Life purpose

At the end of the module students will be able:
• To know how to move from the ordinary to the extra-ordinary
• To understand your life's purpose
• To share your life's purpose with your colleagues
• To formulate a POS life purpose
• To show your commitment to being extra-ordinary positive.
